Join us in celebrating the 100th birthday of the iconic True Love sailboat during a special two-day waterfront event on Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26, in Watkins Glen’s Seneca Harbor Park. This community celebration will honor a century of history, craftsmanship, and sailing tradition with a full schedule of activities for all ages. Festivities begin at 5pm on Friday and resume at 10am on Saturday.

On Friday, enjoy an up-close look at a dozen classic sailboats, breathe in the earthy sweetness of Seneca Lake during Lucky Hare Brewing’s Happy Hour, and sing along with Uncle Joe and Renee, who will be playing sea chanties. Participation is optional, but highly recommended! Friday will wind down with a free, outdoor showing of High Society in the Seneca Harbor Park.

All are welcome for opening ceremonies on Saturday morning, the blessing of the fleet, family-friendly vendor activities, a life jacket display, an interactive knot-tying demonstration, walking tours that highlight Seneca Lake’s maritime history and showcase the True Love, a classic sailboat regatta, a panel discussion recollecting stories from former True Love owners, a barrel pull with Lucky Hare Brewing, live music, and raffle drawings.
